Known as the man with a golden heart, Salman Khan hails from a notable filmy family. He is the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan and Salma Khan. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 1988 with Rekha and Farooq Sheikh starrer Biwi Ho To Aisi. However, his first movie, Biwi Ho To Aisi did not help Salman Khan in any ways as he played a supporting actor in the movie. But his next release, Maine Pyar Kiya broke all the Box-Office records that year. This movie made him a superstar.
Though there was a time when the actor's bad boy image overshadowed his acting skills, Salman came back with a bang and most of his recent movies have a record of crossing the 100 crore mark.
