Since then he continued working as a child artist in various mythological films and also in main stream cinema; notably as Raj Kapoor’s younger counterpart in Awara. As a child he also did plays at the Prithvi Theatre and then went on to become a big Bollywood star.

Sridevi is the diva most women wish to be. But before she became a diva, she was a child artist who featured in multiple Tamil and Telugu films where she played mythological characters. It was then that she got a break in Hindi cinema with ‘solvan saawan’ in 1979 and the rest, as they say, is history.
6- KUNAL KHEMU

He first appeared in Doordarshan's 'Gul Gulshan Gulfaan' when he was 4 years old and went onto to act in a string movies like Sir, Raja Hindustani, Hum hain rahi pyaar ke. One of the most recognisable child artists, Kunal's debut as an adult happened in 2005 in Jaanat. Since then, he has had consistent releases and with effort and hard work could well be a mega star of Bollywood.
It would be appropriate to mention a couple of other bollywood celebrities like Urmila Matondkar, Kunal Khemu who have gone on and made a big name for themselves. However, one must add that not all child artists’ succeed when they grow big; only a few are the lucky ones who do.
